Founder & Managing Partner

Steven Weill

Steven Weill is the Founder and Managing Partner of Global Performance Solutions (GPS), a performance management company that serves small businesses, investment, wealth, and institutional professionals, and C-suite executives and teams.

Prior to starting GPS, Steven was a vice president, senior business strategist, and head of the US business strategy team at Goldman Sachs’ Asset and Wealth Management Division. He was responsible for developing and delivering tailored practice management education, training, consulting, and executive coaching programs to support GS’s strategic sales initiatives within the Institutional, Bank, Independent Advisor, RIA, Wire House, and Platform Distribution channels. Over the past 15 years, Steven has worked with GS’s top-tier clients throughout the globe, including Asia, Australia, and Europe. Steven also worked closely with several Goldman Sachs Partners, Managing Directors and Wholesalers as their Executive Coach.

Steven joined Goldman Sachs from UBS Wealth Management as a Market Area Sales Manager and a Business Development Master Coach. He was instrumental in designing, delivering, and consistently coaching programs for top UBS Financial Advisors, Private Wealth Advisors, Branch Managers, and Senior Executives. His areas of focus included building high-performing teams, business planning, goal setting and implementation, client acquisition, organic growth and retention strategies, driving execution and accountability, and effective leadership.

Prior to UBS, Steven was responsible for Morgan Stanley's strategic initiatives within the High Net Worth area and was National Sales Director in the Financial Planning department. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Steven spent 10 years as a Senior Financial Advisor with American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise).

Steven graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Management, holds the Certified Financial Planner® designation and is certified in Executive Coaching from the Center for Executive Coaching.
